Ok, not updated for half a month now. Nothing much to talk about. Much of the excitement of the holidays were over, and tomorrow is the day that my life starts to get exciting again.
Went to KL two weeks ago for 2 days of crazy shopping. Bought 3 entire sets of comics from KL, total of almost 100 books. Walk and walk like crazy... and rain somemore. On the way back, the highway was flooded, and the bus moved like a tortoise. Both sides of the expressway was all water. Even got people on the bus take camera out to take pictures. ha.
Nothing to do at home for 2 weeks, I started to look for things to throw away. Our new house is going to be much small then the present one. So many things that we have to throw or else we wont fit into the house.
Watch Confession of Pain yesterday. It was GREAT! Why? Because there's Tony Leung! ok fine... there's Takeshi too. And both were such wonderful actors. (ok my vocab is limited) Anyway... it's a must-watch.
School's starting tomorrow. My mind is already running through again and again what i need to do tomorrow. It's going to be a busy year. Especially for my choir. SYF, Arts Nite, Thanksgiving. There'll be more instances that I have to do more that one thing at a time or be in more than one place at a time and that I wish that I can split myself up like the Sun Wu Kong.
I realised that I have a co-teacher in all my classes now. I'm no longer alone. It's very helpful when u have a bunch of monkeys that can't stay still. But it also means I can't do whatever I want with my kids... *evil grin*... Well, I'll meet new students, not many though... cos 2 of my classes are followed up from sec 1. Teachers in the staffroom always relate going to class as going to war. It IS really a war. And it's not everytime we finish victorious. Even if we are, we're totally exhausted. Worse when your timetable tells you that you have another war straight after. And it doesn't help when your throat is dry and painful and you feel a sudden breeze of giddiness in your head.
We visited the new campus and joked about a walkway that links the staffroom block to the classroom block. We should label the start of the walkway... "Gateway to Hell".
